XOvision XOD1742BT – Double Din DVD player Review from Omar A Simpson omaranthony29. total piece of crap, the previous reviews were correct. this thing doesnt even deserve 1 star. the touch screen is unresponsive the remote looks like they just threw buttons on it without any thought. the sound quality is really, truly horrible. the screen is so bright at night that it makes using the dome light in the car obsolete and guess what.. there’s no way to dim the screen. at times the unit gets confused and just turns off after a 1 minute delay.

the dvd playback is about the only decent thing about it but the sound is still crappy and can someone tell me what’s up with the bright blue screen that comes on when using the auxillary function? no data no text just a blank, bright blue screen.

overall this is the worst radio/dvd system i’ve ever come across, i had it in the car for about 3 days before i coudnt take it anymore and actually replaced it with the factory unit. BE WARNED THIS IS A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.
